And this is my map, there's a mini fan and all my photos are blowing by its wind, and every photo has shining white stars to connect the building's name. I made it by several layers and edited every photo, dragging them to good positions. I enjoyed in processing these photos and it is my first time to use it, I found it very interesting to make this map, still I'm just new to photoshop, there's some more I need to learn.

mp 2
I made a map for a journey on my English class to the art class. When my English class was over, I took a photo about the door in front of the classroom with the room number on it. Then I observed my friends around me, they were very happy to finish the class, and I guess they wanted to have a big lunch with each others, when we were waiting for the elevator, I smelt the humidity, I thought it should be an old building on campus. Then I went to the SEL for a little while, after I got out of denny hall I felt very hot, SEL was rebuilt these days and from out side, many roads are prohibit to go, I could just went to another way to enter. Once I got into it, there was coffee smelling everywhere, also I felt a little cold there, there's so different with the temperature outside. After finishing checking my emails, I was get ready to go smith lab. It was very special that our classroom was on the fifth floor, I haven't been to there before this summer, so I took a photo from looking downstairs, and also, I took another photo about the number of the classroom. I think what makes my way unique is I changed 3 places in half an hour from denny hall to smith lab.
Response to Nipple Jesus
I spent an hour and a half to read this story, it was interesting. When the guard took his job, he didn't like his work, he just took it for his wife, and he know nothing about the art, but since he saw the Nipple Jesus, he started to think about what's the meaning about this painting and the people's reaction on watching the Nipple Jesus. So, I just have some crush in my heart that is not everyone is an artist, but everyone can be an artist if he wants to think and ponder over.
But I can't understand why Martha said art is about provocation, I think at that time the guard must be mad of himself, she wanted audience to do that, but he couldn't understand, I couldn't too. If this is really a great exhibition, you don't need people forced to make some reaction to your works.

Response to Walker and Barrett articles
Walker Big Idea and Artmaking
After reading this article, I got the feeling that big idea can represent one artist's style and what he or she wants to tell people about his or her artmaking, and the theme, subject and the big idea are totally different, any themes and subject making can set together to express one big idea, also, during the class, the teacher can lead students with these big idea and essential questions to get closer to the artist, then the students can understand what the artist wants to show them more deeply. If I have a big idea with my subject, it's very meaningful for me to create my own subject more logically I think.
For distinguish between the subject matter and the big idea, I'm may confused with two of them, if the subject matter is the topic, then the big idea is the concepts for the artists, but sometimes the concept can also be a topic too.
Barrett Interpreting visual culture
I found this article very helpful to identify the denotations and connotations, the denotations is that we can see but different people has different understanding on the same denotations, and the connotations are after your watching, what's in your mind or what you received in the denotation, they are connected very closely, when an artist wants to express an subject, he uses denotations to connotate people, to show up his connotation, he needs some image and some denotations to express that, but the connotation can be different maybe.
Actually I just understand the part of the Teddy Bears and the cereal boxes. I just felt lost in the part of art teachers interpret a painting, I don't know what author wants to say in here.

Respons to Kidd, Hichkey,and Weschler
Kidd the Cheese Monkeys'
I read it twice and finally found it was an interesting article. The author told the readers to think about art on left to right, top to bottom, big and small, and in front of and in back of, they are all connected on the two dimensional plane and 3 dimensions. And I really like the part when discussing the big and small, the author tells a example, pretending you are a farmer and you want a tomato to look huge, you can blow the tomato up until all the space are filled with this tomato, it's interesting that we change the good bigger and then it is hardly to recognize that original looking. Aslo, we never think why we should do something beginning left to right, like when we write some articles or names, it's hard to tell the reason why.
And what I am confused is that in the first part, the author mentioned the enemy, I just felt lost when I finished to read this part, I didn't catch up the author's thought about the enemy, and I don't think it makes any sense.
Hickey The Heresy of Zone defense
I must say I like to read the first paragraph of this article, the reason why is I like watching basketball game especially NBA Final Game. I even searched this video on google, and watched this third quarter, and the author uses this basket ball game to introduce the meaning of the rules, I think people can't be tied by the rules just like when they are creating art, sometimes the rules will hurt people not protect people, things always have two sides and we should know that, once an rule is published, it will face some sacrifice one day.
But there's one thing I can't agree with the author is that every rule in any sports must be clear and observe. Without these rules the game can't go on and the sport will become a chaos. As same as to our laws and rules in our social lives, we must have some rules and laws to keep the balance of the society.
Weschler Why is this man smiling?
When I started to read this article, I found it really interesting to write about the whole process and the problems when creating an digital character by digital animators. From this article, I learnt many knowledge about making an digital
character, for example, how to make the skin looks soft like the real man? There are 44 muscles in a human face and a person can have 5000 facial expressions. How to put the soul into digital animators to make audience can feel their emotions?
I just feel a little confused with one problem, why not change the digital animators to the real person? I know, for the audience, there are more attraction for the digital films than a real person film, but is that the fact that we want to cheat by the digital technology?

1. Asymmetrical image:
It was a sunset and we were on the highway, once we saw this beautiful scenery, we stopped the car and took photos there, I didn't do any photoshop on this one, why it seems like darker is there's some dark color in the window of the car, so it comes up darker than the original sunset.
And this is my favorite photo! I like its color!
2. Symmetrical image:
This is my ipad, and I do think it's the symmetrical staff, but my ipad is the first one, so it's a little heavy .And if you have ipad , it is really helpful to study.
2. Symmetrical image:

3. Radial image:
It's my cooking range, and once I was cooking, I saw its radial red light, I think I found it as my radial image.
4.person and their surrounding space:
There's a girl playing piano and many people surrounding her and listening to her music carefully, she played very well but I don't know if it's a small concert or not.
5.Person up close:
This is my best friend, and we have been friends for 10 years, I love her so much, we always take photos by ourselves, and those photos are all our memories. She studies in Italy and I really want to visit her to have a trip in Italy with her~
6. Image view of an ant:
My friend has a bright sunglasses so I took a photo about her right side of this sunglasses and also, I was in this photo too! This is one of my favorite photos too!
And I do think I use the ant's view by taking this glass so close~
7. Image view of a bird:
This is my favorite drink Aloe drink~,
I think it's the best drink I have been tried since I am in the USA,
now it seems like there is a fan on the top of my drink, but don'r worry, that's just the view of a bird, my fan is still on the wall.
8. Stable image:
My roommate and I are walking on campus, suddenly she shouted, "Strawberry!", and I came to see then took this photo, I don't think it's a strawberry, maybe just a flower!
9.Unstable image:
When we were playing billiards, we found every two balls were getting together for each side of us , it's so weird!
10.Name on campus:
Yesterday when I was spraying the oil in making pizza in Union, I sprayed my initial on it, I find it hard to searching my name on campus, so I made it on campus!
According to my first pictures that posted before, I took these 10 photos more carefully because every picture has its own prompt, like the ant's view. I think I learnt more on these ten pictures, I know what is stable image and unstable image mean, which should I focus on when I taking photos.
And my favorite pictures are 1 and 6 also my best friend's. And I really had fun during photo's time.
I always like taking pictures to remember something important to me, so both photos are my enjoyable time and they can make me aftertaste current scene.
